Project process

Petal Organic works in the manner of an architect, i.e. by the progressive approach of the project allowing to define by stages the project to refine its realization. This progressive approach allows us to understand, respond and realize the project that will reveal the exterior space of your property. We have broken down these steps into three milestones.

Phasing of the missions

- Phase 1: Design and definition of a transformation project

- Phase 2: Project studies and costing

- Phase 3: landscaping and planting

Phase 1: Design and definition of a transformation project

This step allows us to understand your property and your expectations during the first contact with you. A fixed price mission allows us to define the orientations of the project. From the first meeting we propose:

- An analysis of the survey and regulations

- An intermediary exchange step halfway through to guide the project.

- The sketch of a landscaping project that meets the program

- An estimate based on ratios with several budget options

The validation of this step allows to secure the project and to launch the next phase.
The budget depends on the surface and the importance of the project, and starts at 1200 USD. This mission is reimbursed in the form of a reduction on the work budget during the final stage of the project.

Phase 2: Project studies and costing

After the validation of the general design of the project and its budgetary approach, we enter the technical phase which allows to prepare the realization of the project.

The purpose of this step is to prepare the choice of plants, lighting, fittings, materials and to know precisely the cost of construction and allows to engage the realization of the project.

Thus we prepare the following documents according to the case:

- General layout plans

- Planting plan

- Technical plans (drainage, electricity, plumbing...)

- Specific details (fountains, metalwork, special furniture, fireplaces, pergolas, barbecue...)

- Final detailed costing with options

- Phasing of the building site and the installations.

The validation of this work results in the signature of the final contract which secures the project.

This mission is based on a budget of about 5% of the estimated amount of the work and can be fixed at the beginning of the project.

Phase 3: Construction and planting

Once the project is validated, we prepare the interventions of our teams of realizations which are each specialized in a field: native plants, plants, construction, arrangement, drainage, plumbing, electricity, metalsmithing... Our mission is to manage these teams, to ensure the follow-up of the work in accordance with the initial project and the budget within the planned time. Thus we guarantee the respect of the project until it is taken into account by the owner.

After delivery and installation and for a period of one year, we guarantee the recovery of the plants and commit ourselves to their free replacement.

The optional maintenance follow-up of our landscaping allows us to ensure the good aging and the blooming of the installed plants.

The first telephone contact will allow us to explain and detail, if necessary, the course of our missions. In addition, we can also discuss with you the themes of the circular economy and projects taking into account sustainable development and frugality, particularly with regard to water and energy management at a time of climate change and the relevance of plants native to Texas and arid regions.
